Bangalore, August 19, 2015:  At the District Court hearing in New Delhi, Quess Corp Limited won its case for using its IKYA Human Capital Solutions brand against home furnishings brand IKEA

M/s. Inter IKEA Systems BV had sought to restrict Quess Corp Limited from use of the mark, “IKYA – the Power of Being One” along with logo on the premise that the mark purportedly infringed its Trademarks. After hearing arguments in the matter, the Hon’ble Court was pleased to vacate an earlier ad interim ex parte order of injunction vide the court order dated 3rd August 2015 and accordingly the petitions for contempt of earlier orders have also ceased to exist upon dismissal of the original suit of IKEA.
